From Conflict to Creativity: Veteran Arts Festival
Uniting US is collaborating with the Library of Congress Veteran History Project to honor service and bring awareness to the healing, engaging, and community building benefits of therapeutic arts activities and events.
Join the art festival activities demonstrated in the From Conflict to Creativity event on June 28-30, 2022! 35 Uniting US veteran artists are scheduled to demonstrate their art/performance craft, talk about their journey from transitioning out of the military into civilian life, and their experience using therapeutic arts to heal and recover from trauma in addition to managing chronic challenges related to pain management, PTS, and Military Sexual Trauma.
